Happy Birthday Papaji :)

Dear Papaji 'Happy Birthday to you'
May this day bring you a lot of happiness and joy. May all your wishes come true. I pray for your long life with the pleasures of good health and wealth.
Unlike every time on your birthday this time my gift for you is not any materialistic thing but a 'promise', a promise from a daughter to her father, from me to you. I will try to be a good daughter and will try to follow whatever you say and will try to keep you happy with all possible ways.
Last time I felt bad since the letter which I gave you with the greeting card made you emotional, you thought what was written on it was original stuff, the written thing was copied but I swear the feelings were same I felt exactly what I had copied and written.
Anyways from now I promise to self dependent and also write originals.
I promise to be sincere and hardworking.
I promise I will never hurt you and you understand me always.
              Love you dearest Daddy.....:)
You are out of the world and still the best dad on this planet. weird naa.. hahaha...pj.

The Bond of Friendship...

A friend is a companion who understands us and whom we understand. They are there for each other always   and without even expressing the feelings, a friend gets to know about it. There are many friends just for the name sake but the one who is very close to your heart and with whom you can share most of the things is your best friend.
Even I do have a friend, named Surbhi, "SURBHI SHARMA" a best friend, an ideal girl, ideal daughter of her parents, ideal sister of her brother. She is my best friend. Say it by luck or by chance, that I have created this blog and got the way to create it just because of her so thought of dedicating it to her.
It is truly anonymously said that-
"  Some friendships are created by nature,
some by interests and some by souls."
Ours is a friendship created by "Souls". How can it be, except by the miracle of friendship, that someone can know you so well even with telling virtually nothing about your feelings. A friend is what your heart needs all the time.
Surbhi and me, we both are among those military personnel's daughters who have to change there places and schools after a regular interval of 4 to 5 years. So our classmates and friends were always changing. And it was in Patiala where we met. She joined our school in the month of May, 2008 when we were studying in class tenth. At that time I did not realize that it is she who will become my fast friend. In tenth class we were just good friends with one more girl named Malavika in our group. We have sweet memories of those days. But Malavika got separated from us as soon as we passed our tenth standard results were declared. She had shifted to Bangalore due to her father's transfer over there. Then in eleventh class it was only Surbhi and me together so we became bench-mates and it was here that our story of true friendship starts. We then used to sit together, eat lunch together, study together and even spend our free time together sitting and chatting. We even used to share many secrets and discuss problems with each other.
I don't remember if she ever needed me for help or not, but she was always there whenever I needed her help and support.
I remember there were many days in the schools when was a half-a-day working and I did't have vehicle arrangement to go home, it was she who dropped me to my home on her scooty. Another incident I remember was on 31st December, 2010 when it was my sister's birthday and at that time my father was posted to Belgaum and so I had to buy cake and other stuffs for the birthday. That day it was with her that I went for shopping on her scooty. Without her the birthday party of my sister wouldn't have gone according to the plan. It was that day only when we had "Chat Papdi"for the first and last time together in "Gopal Sweets". It is still a very sweet and memorable moment for me.
When we were in twelfth class and during the period when I was quite depressed with the situation and that I was scoring low marks which I was scoring made me more irritated and frustrated. So simply with no reason I stopped talking to her, we didn't talk for a week. GOD I don't believe I did this to her, she was feeling very bad. I realized it later when I was in quite a stable state. I don't know if I apologized her for that or not but for sure she forgave me.
And since then I understood how important she is for me and her love and compassion for me too.
Surbhi... I will be there for you... just remember me when you need me and feel free to talk anytime...:)

Now its past two years that we have not seen each other and are staying so far she in Patiala, Punjab and me in Kollam, Kerala, but our bond of friendship is still the same. It is as strong as it was before and I still feel that she is somewhere around me.
This is the true bond of FRIENDSHIP...
